Maxi dresses ensure elegance whether you’re at the pool or on a patio. This look creates the perfect balance of showing skin on top while having coverage on bottom.. just remember to accentuate your waist!
A classic white shirt is a closet staple, we paired this top with denim and an unexpected scarf to tie together the red white and blue ensemble. If you are not a fan of a tucked in shirt, maybe tie it at your waist or only tuck in the front. (You know how we feel about accentuating the waist!)
There are multiple ways to tie a square scarf, wrapping it twice with a small knot just happens to be our favorite… a red bandana also has the same effect!
Dip your toes in!! For a casual pool day throw on your favorite sneakers with your red white and blue. Since we are firm believers in mix + match + maximizing.. this top is a staple. It can be worn underneath a blazer at the office or paired with stripe shorts for a pool day!
The key to this Style Guide? We used what we already have in our closet! Yes, these are all our own clothes! (Admittedly, both Alex and I have a proclivity to stripes for each of our own personal styles.) Use what you have in your closet!
