I founded U*styled in 2008 to support busy, professional women to make their lives easier so that they could focus on their personal and professional goals.

So, when I read an article like this regarding the government shut down and how it was a group of women, both Democrats and Republicans, who stepped up to work together to reach a compromise that is mutually beneficial, I can’t help but be moved.

They inspire U*styled.

On Sunday, a group of girlfriends and I went to the Saban Theatre here in LA to see Marianne Williamson for her big announcement. Alanis Morrissette was the opening act, which only added to the anticipation. (see pic above)

Her announcement? That she is running for the House of Representatives as an Independent.

This means a Return to Love for the US Goverment. (If you have not read Return to Love yet, I highly recommend it.)

It’s powerful, inspiring, making-it-happen women like the women of the US Senate, Marianne Williamson, Alanis Morrissette and YOU who inspire U*styled.
